THERE IS A WAY FORWARD

Whether you are struggling with drugs, alcohol, pornography, destructive habits, or another life-controlling issue, your story isn't finished.

Freedom isn't simply stopping a behavior. It's discovering a new life in Jesus Christ.

Jesus can forgive the past, break chains, heal what is broken, and give you strength to walk in freedom one day at a time.

You don't have to fight alone.

I WANT TO BE FREE. WHERE DO I START?

Freedom can feel overwhelming when you're looking at the whole journey. Don't try to solve everything today. Start with the next step.
1. TURN TO JESUS
Freedom begins with surrender. Ask Jesus to forgive you, save you, and take control of your life. You don't have to clean yourself up first. Come to Him just as you are.
2. TELL SOMEONE
Addiction grows in secrecy. Tell someone you trust what you're facing—a pastor, Christian leader, family member, counselor, or recovery leader. You were never meant to fight this battle alone.
3. REMOVE ACCESS
Make it harder to go back. Separate yourself from the substances, people, places, and situations that continually pull you toward your old life. Sometimes freedom requires walking away.
4.  GET CONNECTED
You need people around you who will pray for you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. Find a healthy local church, recovery ministry, small group, or trusted Christian community. Don't isolate yourself.
5. TAKE THE NEXT STEP TODAY
Don't try to win the next ten years today. Ask God for strength to make the next right decision. Then make another one tomorrow. One step of obedience can become the beginning of a completely different life.

FREEDOM IS A JOURNEY, BUT YOU CAN TAKE THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS FREEDOM TODAY.

TRUTH TO HOLD ONTO

When your feelings tell you one thing, hold on to what God says.

ISAIAH 61:1
“He has sent me... to proclaim freedom for the captives.”

ROMANS 6:14
“Sin shall no longer be your master.”

GALATIANS 5:1
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.”

DO YOU LOVE SOMEONE WHO IS STRUGGLING?

Addiction doesn't only affect the person struggling. It impacts spouses, parents, children, friends, and entire families.

You can love someone deeply without enabling destructive behavior. You can pray, establish healthy boundaries, seek wise counsel, and find support for yourself while continuing to believe God for their freedom.

You don't have to walk through this alone.
